Visitors who are not be able to access the upper floors are welcome to enter free of charge with a companion/carer. AccessibilityThe museum is in a quirky Grade II listed building. The ground floor and shop are accessible to people with limited mobility and wheelchair users but there is currently no lift. There is a photographic display on the ground floor showing the upper galleries. How to get hereBy Car/ParkingThere are two large car parks to the West and East of Lyme Regis – Holmbush and Charmouth Road which cost just £1 for all day parking. Both are 10 - 15 minutes walk from the museum (Charmouth Road is nearer). There are smaller car parks in central Lyme Regis but these are often very crowded. There is no parking at the museum itself. Direct trains go from Axminster to London Waterloo. Connecting services are available at Exeter St Davids to Axminster from where you catch a bus to Lyme Regis.
