WW1 Centenary – the British Tommy

25 October @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

100 years since the end of WW1, we’ll be commemorating with a special day devoted to the ordinary British soldier, the ‘Tommy’. Courtesy of Chris Copson of The Keep Military Museum, Dorchester, there will be a full Tommy’s kit on display, and Chris will give a series of fascinating talks about life in the trenches. You’ll also have the opportunity to handle the kit these soldiers would have carried and relied on in battle.
