Lyme Regis Museum has a friendly, traditional museum atmosphere, with something for visitors of all ages to enjoy. All the family can explore and enjoy finding out about fossils, the history of this small Dorset town, and the natural environment of the Jurassic Coast.

There is a free quiz, hands-on activities and relaxed reading areas for adults and children. We offer regular fossil talks and hugely popular fossil walks.  There are drop-in family fun days in each school holiday.To see pictures of a previous Family Fossil Day click here.
