Roberts's History of Lyme Regis and Charmouth

A limited edition facsimile of George Roberts' writings of the early 19th century, this edition was printed with only 1,000 copies by the Lyme Regis Museum and Lymelight Press. Roberts was Lyme's pre-eminent historian and this book is a detailed account of the history, geology and topography of the town, transcripts of historic documents, fold-out maps and engravings of the time, personal reminiscences and anecdotes. All this provides a fascinating basis on which the history of Lyme Regis can be understood.
