Rock Pooling Walk with Guide – 19th October 11.30am

Explore the shoreline on one of our popular Rock Pooling Walks! Lyme Regis has one of the most diverse reefs in the UK… join the West Dorset Forager on a shoreline safari experience to discover this incredible tidal zone and the wonderful creatures lurking in the pools and crevices of Monmouth Beach, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the session our Guide will show you how to safely hold various specimens – you will even have the opportunity to take a ‘selfie with a sea creature’!
The session is suitable for ages 3+ and entry to the Museum is included in the ticket price – a great value family day out!
Sessions last 2-3hrs. Please dress in suitable clothing for mud and water! Baby carriers are not advisable due to the nature of the terrain. Please meet promptly outside the Museum 15 minutes before the Walk. Walks are weather dependent and may be cancelled if the forecast is poor. Full refunds will be given the event of cancellation.
Instructions for booking:
