On March 25th, Lyme Regis Museum will be welcoming Professor John Long, internationally acclaimed palaeontologist and author, for a fascinating talk entitled The Secret History of Sharks, a 500million year story of survival and a book signing on his latest publication, The Secret History of Sharks.

Professor Long, a leading expert in prehistoric marine life, will take audiences on an incredible journey through 500 million years of shark evolution, uncovering secrets about these ancient ocean predators and their pivotal role in Earth’s history. From fossil discoveries including those found on the coast in the UK and the importance of Mary Anning’s finds to modern day threats to the species, this talk is described as a must-attend event for science enthusiasts, history lovers, and anyone intrigued by the wonders of the natural world.

Following the talk, guests will have the exclusive opportunity to meet Professor Long and get their copies of The Secret History of Sharks signed.

The Talk and Book Signing will take place on 25th March at 11.30am in the Museum.
