About the Friends
"FRIENDS OF THE MUSEUM" is proud of the help it has given to Lyme Regis Museum. We act as a support group, giving financial and practical assistance and providing many of the voluntary stewards, cataloguers, and other helpers. As a registered charity we exist only to support the museum in every possible way, and to involve the public at large in this unique, vibrant, something-for-everyone place of learning and activity. Why don’t you join us and become part of the Friends community?  
Apart from helping out at the Museum in so many ways we also have a social side which features interesting talks, outings, and lectures on a fascinating variety of topics. The degree of your involvement in any or all of these aspects of our work would be entirely up to you. How to Join
Our single annual membership fee is just £8-00 or £12-00 for a couple/family, for which modest outlay you get free admission to the Museum, and you can bring along a guest, also free.In addition you receive a copy of our twice-yearly newsletter "Museum Piece", to which members are welcome to contribute articles and ideas. Do join us if you can - it's always such a pleasure to have new members on board. You don’t live in Lyme Regis? Perhaps you even live abroad? No matter: your support would be most welcome just the same - and you’ll have a ready-made group of Friends every time you come back to this beautiful town!
