Advance booking is not required for general admission. Tickets can be purchased on arrival. Some events, workshops, talks and guided fossil walks do require advance booking.

Yes. Lyme Regis Museum runs expert-led guided fossil walks along the Jurassic Coast. Walks must be booked in advance and are suitable for beginners. Details and availability can be found on our website here.
On guided fossil walks, common fossils may usually be kept, subject to responsible collecting guidelines explained by your guide. Significant finds may need to be reported.
Yes. Our shop offers fossil-themed gifts, books, jewellery, souvenirs and exclusive items inspired by Lyme Regis. Many items are also available through our online shop.
The Museum does not have a café, but there are many cafés and restaurants nearby in Lyme Regis.
Accredited Assistance dogs are welcome. Other dogs are not permitted inside the Museum.
