TO THE SEA – Artist Open Afternoon – Sarah Acton

TO THE SEA – Artist Open Afternoon with Sarah Acton

Come and join us for a relaxed and informal afternoon and meet Sarah Acton, one of the artists behind our exciting new residency project, ‘To the Sea’. Find out how Ilse is responding creatively to the objects and photographs in our Maritime Gallery and get up close with some of the collection’s fascinating pieces yourself.

This is your chance to have a chat with the artist and with us. Tell us about your own memories and stories of Lyme and the sea. Share what you love about the collection, what surprises you and what stories you’d like to see more of. Your ideas and experiences will directly inspire the work being made and the exhibition coming next year.

No agenda, no formality – just good conversation, interesting objects and a warm welcome from our team and our artist in residence!

FREE to Attend (drop-in)

This Open Day is part of ‘To the Sea’, Lyme Regis Museum’s exciting new artist residency programme funded by Arts Council England.
