‘Folded Forms of Prehistoric Life’ by Emily Higgs
Forms of Prehistoric Life showcases stylised works by Emily Higgs, that reimagine ancient animals through simplified forms, structure and movement. Drawing on inspiration from fossil displays and evidence of behaviour, the exhibition balances artistic interpretation, using layered digital techniques to create depth and texture. It invites viewers to explore how basic shapes can be transformed into dynamic representations of the prehistoric world.
Folded Forms of Prehistoric Life will be running in our Rotunda Gallery from 12th May 2026 – 14th September. For visiting information please see our Plan your Visit page. This exhibition is FREE with admission.
