LYME REGIS AND THE NEW WORLD TAPESTRY – A Talk by John Dover
John Dover is a resident of Lyme Regis and a former trustee and Chairman of Lyme Regis Museum.
John will explore how Lyme residents became involved in producing a tapestry larger and longer than the Bayeux Tapestry and as significant to the history of England. He will shed light on the fascinating story of this now mostly forgotten episode in Lyme’s history.
