Just three weeks from now, over the weekend of May 3rd and 4th, Lyme’s Fossil Fest returns with a new theme of “Citizens’ Science”. Lyme Regis Museum will be joining in the action by offering Free Admission to the building on Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th May where visitors will have a chance to view rare fossils on display and to learn about fossilised insects with our geological team. Enjoy the drop-in sessions too where you can observe micro-fossils through a microscope.
Then enjoy some Fossil Polishing in the Marquee, at pocket money prices.
Fossil Walks leave the museum at 12.30 on Friday 2nd, 1.00 on Saturday 3rd and 1.30 on Sunday 4th. These are popular and can be booked in advance through the Museum.
The Mary Anning Walk will be leaving the Museum at 1.30 on Saturday 3rd May and can also be booked in advance.
